1. Who we are
Speaklogix is the trading name of SPEAKLOGIX LTD, a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales under company number 16942303. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at info@speaklogix.com or by telephone on 056 0385 2259.
2. Our website and services
We provide information about cybersecurity and IT support, website development, custom software, and digital marketing services. This website allows you to explore our services and make an enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not create a service contract, reserve availability or authorise a charge.
Services are arranged directly with Speaklogix. Before you commit, we will provide a written proposal or order confirmation setting out the scope, deliverables, price, any applicable taxes, payment schedule, delivery arrangements, support, duration and cancellation terms. A contract is formed only when the proposal or order is accepted as specified in that document.
3. Prices, payment and delivery
Prices shown on the website are indicative unless expressly confirmed in a written offer. The final currency, total price and treatment of VAT or other applicable taxes will be stated before you agree to buy. We do not collect card details or take payments through this website.
Any deposit, milestone payment, subscription renewal or third-party cost must be agreed in advance. Work starts on the agreed date after any agreed prerequisites are met. Delivery dates, access requirements and acceptance criteria are set out in your proposal. Changes to scope, costs or timelines require agreement.
4. Working together
Please provide accurate information and ensure you have permission to share any files, systems or personal data involved in a project. Keep independent backups of important data. We will request authorisation before accessing a device, account or system; an enquiry does not authorise remote access.
Security and marketing services aim to improve protection and performance. No service can guarantee that every attack will be prevented, that a particular search ranking will be achieved, or that revenue will increase. Specific service levels apply only where included in your agreement.
5. Cancellation, refunds and consumer rights
Our refund and cancellation policy explains how to cancel and when refunds apply. Consumers who enter into eligible service contracts at a distance usually have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel. Starting a service during that period requires an express request, and the legal conditions for any cancellation charge or loss of the right to cancel must be met.
Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights, including rights concerning services that are not provided as agreed. Business cancellation arrangements are set out in the relevant written contract.
6. Intellectual property and third-party products
Website text, graphics and branding belong to Speaklogix or their respective licensors. You may view and use the website for lawful personal or business information. You must not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code or reproduce protected material without permission.
Ownership and licensing of project deliverables, pre-existing materials and third-party software will be specified in your proposal. Third-party products may carry their own licence terms and fees. References to a third-party product do not imply an endorsement or partnership.
7. Privacy and external links
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information, and our cookie policy explains browser storage. External websites have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their content or availability.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
Any additional liability provisions for business services must be stated in the service agreement. Website information is general and does not replace a project-specific assessment. We aim to keep it accurate, but may correct errors and update service descriptions.
9. Complaints and governing law
Send complaints to info@speaklogix.com, describing the service and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and respond, and explain any applicable independent dispute-resolution options if the matter remains unresolved.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory rights to use the courts and protections of their home jurisdiction. Updates to these website terms do not retrospectively change an existing service contract.
